Depending on the size and intended use of the parasols, various opening systems come into question. The following overview shows you how they work, along with their respective advantages and disadvantages.
Easyshift
The integrated button on the opening handle is pressed down and then released. The parasol then opens by itself. Finally, the handle simply needs to be locked into place by pressing it down again.

2. Manual opening

The parasol is opened manually by first pulling the ribs apart and then pushing the opening handle upwards to the locking point.

3. Crank system

The parasol is opened using a hand crank supplied with it, which moves a cable pull mechanism. An often integrated telescopic function ensures that table clearance is maintained while opening and closing the parasol.

4. Push-up
Push-Up
The parasol ribs are pulled slightly apart, which already opens the parasol a little. Now you only need to push the opening handle up to the desired locking point. The tension of the canopy depends on the locking point and can be more or less taut. The additional telescopic function ensures that table clearance is maintained, as the ends of the ribs always remain at the same height during opening and closing, so no tables need to be moved.

5. Slider
Schieber
The slider is pushed manually up along the pole and locks into a position. The position of the slider is then fixed using a safety pin.

6. Pulley

By pulling a hanging cord, the parasol opens fully. The final position is then fixed with a safety pin and the remaining cord is fastened to a holder provided for this purpose on the pole.

7. Rod pull
Stabzug
If present, the safety pin is removed first. In the next step, the parasol is pulled slightly apart at the ribs until you reach the hanging opening rod. Now you pull on it until the parasol is completely open and fix the position by hooking the rod onto the rib hub.
