As part of our graphic service, our professional graphic designers will create a design for you according to your wishes. 1- You send us the data you have, for example via email, and describe your wishes and ideas. If you have already selected an umbrella model, let us know, otherwise we will advise you in advance.

The printing techniques for custom parasols
Different printing techniques are used to print parasols and at Schirmmacher, we pride ourselves on offering a range of cutting-edge options. Our team expertly recommends the most suitable printing technique based on factors such as the design, parasol model, and intended use.
Screen printing
In this process, a screen print is applied to one or more areas of white or the already coloured fabric. Logos or lettering with a few different colours and no colour gradients are suitable for screen printing.
Advantages:
- Brilliant colour results exactly matching the colour specification
- Can be printed on any fabric colour
- Cost-effective for large quantities
- High lightfastness
Disadvantages:
- Limited print size
- Not suitable for photos or colour gradients
- Expensive for small print runs
Digital printing
It is printed directly onto the fabric using a digital printing device. This printing process is particularly suitable for complex print designs and also for custom-made products in small runs.
Advantages:
- Complex print designs such as photos can be printed
- Cross-segment, full-surface print designs can be implemented
- Cost-effective for small quantities
Disadvantages
- Expensive for large quantities
- Special colours such as gold or silver aren't available
- Slightly lower lightfastness than screen printing and flat printing
Planographic printing
In planographic printing, a roller is created for each printing colour. The fabric runs through the rollers and one colour is applied after the other. This printing method is particularly suitable for larger print runs.
Advantages:
- Brilliant colour results exactly matching the colour specification
- Cost-effective for large quantities
- High lightfastness
Disadvantages
- Minimum quantities are required
- Sometimes delivery times are slightly longer
