1. Resource-conserving behaviour
We strive to use natural resources as efficiently as possible and to minimise waste. We always keep an eye on the sensible use of resources and motivate suppliers and employees to adopt this attitude. Specifically, we implement energy-saving measures at our premises, use green electricity and utilise electromobility.
2. Products with purpose
It starts with product development and the composition of the range. We make sure that our products are not only functional and durable, but are also made from environmentally friendly materials as far as possible. A good example of this is our zeroPFC umbrellas, where we have succeeded in reducing chemicals and thus making a contribution to our environment.
3. Sensible supply chains and transport routes
We have a lot of experience in our supply chain and transport routes. We have already achieved a great deal of optimisation with the aim of avoiding all unnecessary emissions. Our values are communicated to our partners and we favour partners who share them. Specifically, we motivate our suppliers to take environmentally friendly measures and, where possible, we organise transport directly from the manufacturer to the customer. Many of our products are manufactured in Europe.
4. Socially responsible behaviour
Our commitment goes beyond the environment: we pay attention to fair working conditions and respect social standards along the entire value chain. We have a clear Code of Conduct for the rules of cooperation, which must be adhered to by our suppliers.
5. Continuous improvements
For us, sustainability is an ongoing process that requires constant learning and further development. We regularly set ourselves new targets to optimise our environmental performance and systematically evaluate our measures. We create a culture of continuous improvement by exchanging ideas with partners, using innovative technologies and sensitising our employees. In this way, we ensure that we not only meet today's environmental challenges, but also those of the future.
6. Soon to be Ecoprofit certified
We are currently preparing for Ecoprofit certification. This is an internationally recognised programme that supports companies in improving their environmental performance. Practical and customised measures for resource conservation, energy efficiency and waste reduction are developed and implemented to bring ecological and economic benefits.
